CYP goes to the World Buskers Festival - Tape Face Under Construction

CYP is pleased to announce 2018 is getting off to a hilarious start, at the 2018 World Buskers Festival!
Back in town this 18-28 January, the Festival has an incredible lineup of both international and home-grown artists ready to entertain. What better way to kickstart the year, than to join us for a drink and a laugh at the Festival's headlining show, Tape Face - Under Construction.
The Christchurch scene is already buzzing with the hope of catching one of his shows, but thankfully CYP knows all the right people and has scored reserved seats for 50 lucky members to see his freshest material live!
The man behind the tape, Sam Wills, is an internationally acclaimed kiwi performance artist whose shows have been awarded the Billy T Award by the New Zealand Comedy Guild and Peoples Choice Award at the World Buskers Festival 2008, to name but a few. If that wasn't enough, he was also a 2016 America's Got Talent Finalist and even made it into the 2011 Royal Variety Performance.
This promises to be a fabulous night out, with the newest kid on the block, Universo Brasserie and Bar, hosting us for a tipple before we stroll on down to the Buskers Club at Christ College.

Each ticket includes a free drink and nibbles at Universo, and entry to Tape Face - Under Construction. Remember, any new members are welcome to come along and meet the committee early on, from 5:30pm.
When: Friday 26 January 2017 at 7:00pm– meeting at Universo from 5:30pm onwards, departing 6:45pm.
Where: Universo Brasserie and Bar, and moving on to the Buskers Club at Christ’s College.
Price (includes a drink, nibbles, and reserved seating): Members $30.
